For the third year in a row at Barber Motorsports Park, comes an event that’s one of a kind. From the beautiful one of a kind sports cars racing on the track to the tasty KCBS sanctioned barbeque competition off the track. Historic Motorsports Association (HMSA) is bringing some of the world’s finest automobiles ageing from the early days of the sport all the way up through the 1980s to compete on the 2.38 mile long road course. The sports/racing car themed swap meet presented by Metal Rescue will be open all weekend, as well as the Hendrick Automotive Group car show featuring some the South’s most exotic cars.
Join your fellow one of a kind sports car enthusiast in the Car Show at the Barber Motorsports Park! Conveniently located just past the main entrance at Gate 2, the Car Show offers exclusive, reserved on-site parking with similar sports cars, segmented by make. Once parked, participants are within a short walking distance to the Barber-Que, Porsche Thrill Rides, merchandise and other displays in the Castrol Fan Zone or trackside viewing from the back straight, as well as complimentary tram service.

As promoter of the nation's premier barbecue competitions, Smoke on the Water Productions has created a series of events that have averaged over 30,000 visitors and 158 of the world's best professional cook teams the past thirteen years.
"Barbecue is big business now," according to Ron Cates, President & CEO of Smoke on the Water Productions. "It used to be a handful of contests giving away ribbons and a little bit of prize money. We came in and created events for the true professional to compete against the world's top teams and increased prize money tenfold. Winning one of our events, especially the prestigious USA Barbecue Championship, now guarantees endorsement opportunities and the notoriety that goes with being the world's best. “From humble beginnings with a $5,000 purse, to the richest contest in the world today, Smoke on the Water currently offers over $400,000 in prize money with events in Las Vegas, Laughlin, Atlantic City, Arkansas, Mississippi, Texas, Missouri and a NASCAR King of the Pit Championship Series at Daytona, Michigan and Talladega.
