Events

Entry forms have been sent to all HMSA members, and are available only via mail from the HMSA office. To become a member please go to our Join HMSA section for more information or contact the HMSA office. You can also enter an event online.

Before each event we will be posting event information, schedules, and entry lists. After each event we will post a gallery of photos and a post event story. If you can't make it out to the track, please come back here to check out all the fun we are all having.

HMSA Club event Overview
HMSA members are dedicated to the restoration, preservation and racing of historic race cars. These events are true race meetings comprised of practice sessions and races. Run groups are arranged by speed potential and age of the cars entered for a particular event. Although wheel to wheel racing is common, drivers are encouraged to respect the historic value of the machines.

The hallmarks of a typical HMSA club event are non-spectator, exclusive, semi-competitive with nothing to be won except great experiences, plenty of track time and the camaraderie of fellow members.

HMSA Spectator event Overview
HMSA's spectator events feature over 250 of the world's best historic race cars competing in a variety of classes based on engine size, car type and age. Cars are raced in the same configuration and in most cases in the same livery as in their illustrious past.

Each event is unique offering an open paddock where spectators can meet owners and drivers while given the opportunity to inspect these significant cars up close. World class historic race cars from prestigious manufactures such as Ferrari, Jaguar, Porsche and Corvette that were raced in great series such as Formula 1, CAN AM, TRANS AM, in addition to Stock Cars can be appreciated.

Weekend events are family oriented. Exhilarating pace car rides offered by professional drivers in current model luxury automobiles are available between races, while off track activities include food and wine, car club shows, a vendor midway, and kids play zone.
